BRB, left my soul at Baker Beach, CA

The fog ? The dreary ? The MOOD ?

Man, I love the entire aesthetic of this rocky beach next to the Golden Gate Bridge. I do not understand how people can flock to the beaches of Florida when THIS exists!

Somebody please book me for an elopement at this beach because I am already head over heels. This location would be perfect early in the morning with a thermos of hot coffee and a long veil blowing in the wind. Just saying  ?

This foggy Baker Beach Bridal session turned out better than I could have ever expected.

I’m not one for an early morning, but when you get greeted by mother nature so purely, how can I complain?

My bestie Amanda ordered this poofy skirt from Mr. Pretty Skirt. Talk about a case of not looking like your profile photo. This skirt was supposed to be light pink chiffon and full of elegance, but instead, we received a salmon pink tulle mess of a garment. Amanda still ROCKED it, though, paired with a gentle white sweater & hiking boots. #yougogirl

Her husband, Ryan, preferred to strip down in the middle of the beach and run straight into the water.

This water was FREEZING. On more than one occasion I found myself running from the edge, but Ryan just kept diving in. His skin was lobster red afterward, but he still contends that it was worth getting to swim in the Pacific Ocean for the first time at 9 am.

Can’t get enough of Amanda & Ryan? Me either! See their sunrise Nelson’s Landing Elopement here.
