When we first started on this hike for the Blue Pool Adventure Elopement we thought we would be ballsy enough to get in the water. 

We were not.

We did, however, cheer on another couple who took the plunge. 
The water at the Blue Pool is a chilled 37` on average and really is completely blue.

Talk about natural phenomena, am I right?

I want to be a hiker, I really do. But my short legs and asthmatic tendencies fight against me every step of the way- literally.  This hike kicked my butt. I wasn’t expecting it to be so long and I didn’t wear the right shoes. Rooky mistake, but Lyndsey & Ray made it all worth it.

Hiking on this moderate trail is quite the adventure because you will traverse muddy terrain, tall trees, and rocky mountains all in the same hour. The ecosystem is diverse here and that really adds to the natural beauty surrounding the well-hidden gem. (Stay on the trails my dudes!)

Lyndsey and Ray were 100% down for an adventure. Never afraid to climb the next hill, even in a lace dress! #trooper

By the time we got to the pool there was only enough space left for a quick photo session but I think I’m in love with them all.
