Ohmygosh, where do I even begin with this elopement!? Jessica and Brandon's moody El Dorado Ghost Town elopement was perfect in every way possible. The light, the dress, the cake, the rabbits, it's a real-world fairytale!
Above all, the clouds split perfectly right before the ceremony began, giving us the best evening light. I swear I almost died when I heard the birds sing and saw the rabbits come out to play for the couple's first dance. How magical!? Is this real life? Pinch me!
Las Vegas Elopement Couple
Brandon and Jessica had very few guidelines for how they wanted their Las Vegas elopement to feel. None of the complicated speeches or over-the-top outfits. A complicated wedding isn't all it's cracked up to be, after all. They only asked that it feel romantic and intimate. Intimacy is easy to photograph when the wedding couple is so clearly in love.
Niki, at Cactus Canyon Events, helped make the elopement feel romantic by cultivating beautiful spring flowers and blush napkins just for the bride and groom. The desert life can sometimes feel dreary and dull. Every moment of this intimate wedding was full of life and color.
Jessica kept telling me how much she cries when she's happy. First, it's such a beautiful reason to allow your emotions to overtake you and I love how honest she is. I captured several tender moments she shared with Brandon and I couldn't feel more honored to have been a part of such a special day with special people. It's truly a gift to be able to create the one-of-a-kind fairytale wedding for such loving souls.
Las Vegas Style
In typical Vegas fashion, we planned this entire adventure elopement in less than a week. Can you believe that!? The newlyweds were just engaged on February 1st and married by the 9th. So many things had to work out perfectly to make this elopement happen. Jessica found her dress that had been abandoned by another bride and it fit her *perfectly*. If you've ever been dress shopping then you know how difficult that is. One might say, it was Destiny.
That's one of my favorite things about being an elopement photographer in Las Vegas. I photograph all of the best people. The versatility is matched by nowhere else. The excitement is boastful. The sparkle is endless. In other words, it's truly a magical place to have a wedding.
