Or misting the air above the snow during the winter (so dreamy) It’s the kind of setting that feels like a private paradise, especially with the peaceful sounds of Cold Spring Creek flowing nearby. The trail to the falls is just as magical, winding through a shaded forest of towering Douglas firs and cedar trees, creating an intimate, serene vibe. Its easy to hike during the warmer months but if you hike after snowfall, I would definitely recommend some extra gear to be safe. Now, don’t get me wrong… I love the whole “what happens in Vegas vibe” and if that is your style, I will be your number #1 cheerleader because this is your story and love is love, how ever YOU want it to be told. Allison and Ricardo’s Otter Crest elopement was Allison and Ricardo’s Otter Crest elopement was one for the books! What they thought would be a moody, Twilight-esque setting turned into a sun-soaked day, and honestly, it couldn’t have suited them better. Sure, we hit a few bumps in the road - but we made the best of it. ( benefits of having a photographer who can pivot like a pro 😉 ) Like any parent can empathise with, this also doubled up as a little getaway and taking a break from the role of mum and dad. This did not mean that through some fun creativity, they were not able to include their daughter in their beautiful pictures ❤️ Their personal vows and couple portraits at Otter Crest truly highlighted the essence of their day. Those golden hour shots were just…👌🏻 Even with a few unexpected twists, their clear vision and adaptability made everything come together beautifully. It really shows how having a plan is great, but being flexible is key! I regualry think on days like this what would have happened if it was a “traditional” wedding with minimal flexibility and actually shiver at the shit-show a slight hiccup could make that honestly doesn’t really matter!!
