Working next to a bunch of other photographers is both exciting and terrifying. Self-doubt always comes creeping in, but at the same time, you’re surrounded by like-minded individuals. Cultivating a community is hard but oh so worth it in the end.

This styled Elopement session at the Retreat on Charleston Peak in Las Vegas was a literal dream. The couple, the decor, the GREEN CAKE – I’m so here for it. Every last detail was perfect for the vision we were trying to create.

I knew going into the session that I wanted to push the boundaries. I wanted to bring out my creative juices after being holed up in quarantine in Las Vegas. Dan and Danielle (I know, it’s the cutest) were more than willing subjects.

We laughed. We danced. And we photographed until the sun went down. Feeling the passion between the two of them is easy when you see their gentle caresses and delicate glances. It can almost feel like you’re intruding on a special moment between the two of them and that is a unique thing to have.
