I know it’s been drilled into your head that str I know it’s been drilled into your head that stress and your wedding are inevitable, and I might be pissing off some of the older generation by saying this, YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE A TRADITIONAL WEDDING. No, you are not selfish, no you are not running away and having a quickie wedding just to get it done. You are simply making the choice to make the most important day in your life, ACTUALLY the happiest one in your life. Eloping might seem intimidating—breaking away from tradition, questioning if it’s selfish—but remember: **you don’t owe anyone anything**. I don’t know if I had one bride that went the traditional route come to me and say “ It was the happiest day of my life” it was always “ It was the most stressful day of my life” or “ My god, the amount of money that was spent” or “ I don’t even know half the people that were there and I didn’t even see my partner half the time” I meaaaan…. 😳 This is your day, and if a traditional wedding doesn’t feel right or if you’re not ready to spend $30k+ on just a venue, then eloping might be the perfect choice for you. 🌟 Embrace your desires and celebrate in a way that truly reflects you and your partner. 💖 Still on the fence? We traveled with our baby and here’s the must-ha We traveled with our baby and here’s the must-have gear that helped us survive the journey! Traveling with a baby can be tough, days leading up to our trip Therin was freaking out but I was cool as a cucumber! 🌍✈️ Whether you’re taking a long-haul flight or heading out for a weekend getaway, these items helped us travel like pros. (it was our first international trip with little worm) Here’s what we used to make our trip smooth and stress-free: ✨ Tula Carrier: We left the car seat and stroller in the states and instead opted for just the carrier every time. Not only was it small enough to fit in any bag, it helped lull her to sleep for naps while walking along the beach. ✨ Portable Fan: This became a lifesaver once we stepped out of the plane in Male. The heat plus humidity was so insane and we really worried about baby overheating. This portable fan with flexible legs let us attach it to anything (which is all you really need when you’re traveling) ✨ Babiators: Not only are baby sunglasses cute as hell but they were really helpful with the white sands and unrelenting sun. We opted to add in the flexible strap behind her head to help keep them on longer but baby didn’t really mind them. Imagine standing next to a gorgeous waterfall, about 100 feet tall and 40 feet wide, with the refreshing mist gently cooling you down as you exchange vows. Or misting the air above the snow during the winter (so dreamy) It’s the kind of setting that feels like a private paradise, especially with the peaceful sounds of Cold Spring Creek flowing nearby. The trail to the falls is just as magical, winding through a shaded forest of towering Douglas firs and cedar trees, creating an intimate, serene vibe. Its easy to hike during the warmer months but if you hike after snowfall, I would definitely recommend some extra gear to be safe. Now, don’t get me wrong… I love the whole “what happens in Vegas vibe” and if that is your style, I will be your number #1 cheerleader because this is your story and love is love, how ever YOU want it to be told. Buuutttttt……. Long gone is the stereotypical “running off to vegas for a quickie wedding” elopements. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ The modern idea of an elopement opens the door to possibilities of … anything? Eloping has many benefits, but probably my favorite one is that it gives you the power and freedom to make your day whatever the fuck you want.
