A Winery Elopement Experience Through Oregon Vineyards

When Amy and Frank got engaged, they immediately knew they wanted something different for their wedding. It had to be all about them and their love, not a traditional affair. They both adore wine, especially from the Willamette Valley, so it was a no-brainer to have a winery elopement in Oregon. Once they had their dream destination, everything just clicked into place. And I was lucky enough to be chosen as their Oregon elopement photographer!

“The moment we saw Destiny’s photography, it took our breath away and we KNEW we had to have her be our photographer for our elopement! We can honestly say that it really was meant to be that our paths crossed and we are ecstatic that they did! Destiny has such a warm and welcoming way about her. Bundled in along with her outstanding professionalism, constant communication, endless amounts of helpful information, and oh-so finite attention to every single detail, we felt SEEN, completely taken care of and heard throughout the entire process to see us through to our elopement.”

An Oregon Winery Elopement Experience

Amy and Frank had such a clear vision for their wedding day – they wanted it to be enjoyable, relaxing, and filled with fun and lasting memories. And that’s exactly what we delivered, in true Black Salt Photography style! I’m excited to be a part of the narrative to feature ALL kinds of couples. I absolutely loved that Amy and Frank crafted their day exactly how they wanted it. And hello!? Did you see Amy’s custom blue suit? 😍

They went above and beyond, using my husband, Therin, as their officiant. They even came out to have brunch with us several months before their big day. They’re the kind of couple who quickly became friends.

Since they’re big wine enthusiasts, we spent the entire day visiting wineries, which was an absolute blast. They started at a charming Airbnb. Then we headed to Durant, a winery that also offers tastings of fancy olive oils and vinegars. After that, we went to Ponzi, another beautiful winery where they held their ceremony. Then, we ended the day with a luxury dinner at SubTerra, where they graciously invited us to stay.

A Sweet Note From Amy & Frank:

“All in all, we cannot say enough about Destiny and Therin. They are a power couple and we are completely honored that they were there to help welcome us into our new chapter as a husband and wife. THANK YOU, Destiny and Therin, for all you did for us and making our elopement day an experience that we will never forget!”
