Missouri Elopement at Lost Hill Lake
Jessi discovered my services through a school connection, and we became fast friends after reaching out. The result was a meticulously planned, cold winter Missouri elopement at Lost Hill Lake. Despite the freezing temperatures, the day was filled with joy and fun. Jessi and Nate included their dogs, Jalapeno and Leo, and personal mementos like letters and her grandmother’s lace in the detail photos. The ceremony, attended by their parents, marked the start of a day filled with adventurous exploration.
LEADING UP TO JESSI AND NATE’S MISSOURI ELOPEMENT AT LOST HILL LAKE
Jessi and Nate’s love story began at the gym when she attended his fitness class. Initially, she admired his tattoos and playfully dubbed him the “hot trainer” before they formally met. Following a quick and sweet proposal in Wisconsin, their journey has been nothing short of an adventure. They share a love for hiking and exploring rural areas in various states, always opting for dog-friendly Airbnb accommodations. This adventurous spirit translated into their elopement, making it an enjoyable experience as they embraced the freedom to explore and create memories around the venue site.
A COZY START TO FOREVER: WAFFLES, PUPS, AND LOVE IN MISSOURI
Jessi and Nate started their elopement day in a turquoise bus, cooking waffles, and hanging out with their dogs. They wanted their Missouri elopement to be uncomplicated, focused on being present and mindful, with a deliberate choice to keep it unplugged. They aimed for a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter and, of course, cake. After getting ready, they had a low-key first look at the dock by the pond, followed by an intimate ceremony in the outdoor chapel by the water.
To cap off the day, Jessi surprised Nate with a cozy dinner for two inside an igloo bubble tent with Christmas lights from all directions. They wrapped up the evening with a sweet sparkler exit, something that they really wanted to incorporate.
